Anything from Journey gets me moving around the house. I also like the Beach Boys. Hard to keep still with either of those playing!
George
I have a workout play list on my iPod that usually works for me but the one-two punch is I Would Die 4 U and Baby I'm a Star by Prince. On the Purple Rain soundtrack the two songs mix into one mega song and the beat is awesome. If exercise starts with that, I know I am going to be pumped through the rest of it.
Jaimie

Well, I don't own an iPod. But one song I LOVE is "One More Time" by daft punk.
Flmgodog
Exercise music that I listen to is quite eclectic. I have everything from Norah Jones, Prince, 90's hip hop to El Divo and beyond. depends on my mood and what kind of motivate I need. Recently I have been listening to Womanizer and Single Ladies to get myself in the groove!

I get pumped with pretty much any mid 90's hip hop. My favorites are Common, Outkast, The Roots, but those are just a few.

Anything by ABBA, the BeeGees, or Madonna's upbeat stuff.
Some AC/DC (Back in Black, Thunderstruck). Some Bon Jovi (It's My Life, Living on a Prayer). Other 80's rock bands, too.
Then, more obscure heavy metal stuff. One particular favorite is Small Electric Space by Gardenian. (I doubt anyone on the list has heard of them).
Jenny
When I'm working out I listen to anything upbeat and fast. I can't listen to anything slow or relaxing because it does not hold my attention and I get bored of working out quickly!! haha. I downloaded the soundtrack from the movie Across the Universe to my ipod and I LOVE it. I have only been listening to those songs over and over lately! Other than that I love classic rock, and have a bunch of that to listen too also. The only downfall is that I constantly want to belt out all the words!
Cara
Gina
For me music that gets me going is ok don't laugh any upbeat song off the Futuresex/loveshow album by Justin Timberlake, Any album from A Tribe Called Quest, Jet. That stuff really gets me going !
Julia
Well, since I swim, I can't listen to music while exercising. I do like to listen to uptempo music when driving, although this can cause lead foot syndrome. Some favorites are:
Thunder Road (otherwise known as the song at the top of every musical list I've ever made)
Hey Ya - Outkast
Human - The Killers
Spaceman - The Killers
Girls In Their Summer Clothes - Bruce Springsteen
Killer Queen - Queen
Sandstorm - Darude
I See You Baby (Shakin' That Ass) - Groove Armada
Where The Streets Have No Name - U2
Renegades of Funk - Rage Against The Machine
Everlong - Foo Fighters
Rockin' The Suburbs - Ben Folds Five
Battle of Who Could Care Less - Ben Folds Five
Army - Ben Folds Five
How Do You Like Me Now - Toby Keith
The Sickbed of Cuchuilainn - The Pogues
Lukey's Boat - Great Big Sea
One Week - Barenaked Ladies
Jump Around - House of Pain
Shipping Up To Boston - Dropkick Murphys
Song 2 - Blur
Gaelyne
I have a short 4 song play list of songs I listen to for starting my day:
Get Up by Mike & The Mechanics
Wake Up Call by Phil Collins
It Will be a Good Day by Yes
Ordinary World by Duran Duran
These 4 songs get my head in the right place for the day. In particular though, I really wanted to share the song 'Get Up' with everyone because it just seems like a great theme song for us. (Well it works for me).
Jill
Wow - I have like 3000 songs. I have some songs just segregated to an Exercise playlist though. I have some meditation thing that is one hour long talking me into loving exercise LOL - I have a Tae Bo Workout mix, Wonder Woman mix, a High Energy Workout mix, and a mix from DJ Cool. I also have some Leslie Sansone walking tracks, Kathy Smith and Jane Fonda walking tracks, and Yoga videos. I usually though just play a shuffle through my regular list when I walk...and heck, that could have Tchaikovsky to Kiss to Jon Mayer to ABBA to anything - I love music - ALL kinds of music. There isn't any music that I can't stand (some hip-hop and some metal - I must say the ones that are cacophonic are not my faves).
Raquel
I like all different types of music, though I'm basically stuck from the 1990's downward...don't ask me about pop stars today cause I wouldn't be able to tell you anything! However, I don't exercise while listening to music, unless I'm stretching at home. But there are times when I will put music on and start dancing to it! I've made two lists:

* "El costo de la vida" [The price of life] by Juan Luis Guerra y 4.40
* "Our House" by Madness

i like computer toys, software that i can play with, right now i'm trying to figure out Adobe Premiere Elements. I want to make some snazzy vlogs!
George
I bought a movie I love called Hedwig and the angry inch. It is definitely not for everyone but the music, story, and film tells a story that I can relate to. Figuring out who you really are in this world is not easy. That is the basic story told in a strange way.
Jaimie
my challenge to reward 'me'... even though I should have cleaned the kitchen last night when we got home, the 4 of us watched a movie together and I did NOT get up...usually I can't sit through a whole movie w/o thinking I should be cleaning or laundry
Herlinda
I rewarded myself with going to see gran torino and mall cop last weekend with friends. I also bought two movies Fireproof and Flywheel. As I try to get myself to eat healthier, I must also
work on strengthening myself spiritually with happiness, laughter, sadness(tears of joy), and inspirational messages of hope.
Erin
My gift to myself... I went to a Stampin' Up! Team Meeting in Freeport Long Island. It was an hour + drive and I only thought about a cigarette ONCE! 25 minutes into the drive I said "Wow, 6+ weeks ago I would have had 5 by now!" LOL. I learned a lot of new ideas for my stamping business and today I made a gift for my family. I LOVE weekends like this.
flmgodog
I rewarded myself with an Ipod, hoping it will further motivate me to get on the treadmill at o'dark thirty in the morning. It's tough for me to exercise right now as sometimes I work straight through until 12 or 1 in the morning and then get up day my daughter to daycare and do it all over again.
Kim
I like to give myself software or books for my kindle. This week it was the upgrade to iWork and iLife.
Scott
I took my camera and went out for a nice long nature hike along the Mississippi river. This is a reward for me in a few ways. It allows me to get some quiet time, and with little ones at home this is nice sometimes (although I would LOVE it if they want to come with). It also allows me to play with my camera, and I almost always see some cool stuff.
Joanie
My reward was going shopping and getting a new outfit :)
Rachel
My non-food reward would be allowing myself to be lazy this weekend,
except for a few necessary chores and exercise. I would have worked
this weekend, but I got everything done ahead of time to make it
possible for me to relax. And it feels great.
Jenny
My non food reward was taking a bath. That may sound silly but I cannot even tell you the last time that I took the time to relax and take a bath. I usually just 'have no time' and hop in the shower. It was amazing! The day I took the bath I had gone 4 miles on the cross trainer then had to shovel 12+ inches of snow from around my car! Great job everyone!
Cara
Rewarded myself with a new coat & pair of jeans. I was going to buy the movie Fireproof, but it was sold out.
Gina
I had to think long and hard to this last challenge but, finally I decided what my reward was last night. I am buying a Macromedia Flash Cs4 Classroom in a book. It has been a while since I have really done any animation and I need some brushing up. I think in the end it will be a great reward in more ways than one.
Julia
I bought myself some new shirts. I have this thing about spending money on myself, especially now, when money is so tight. Every once in a while, when I have an extra $10 or $20, I make a game of it and scour the clearance racks at Target to see how much I can get for my money. Saturday, I found a black shirt for $2.48, a green one for $4.58 and a cute argyle sweater vest for $4.89. They're a size smaller than I used to wear and they fit! Double bonus. :D
Gaelyne
For my reward, I bought myself a Bissel 'Flip-It' dry floor cleaner (I have lots of tile and hard floors). You use it in one way for vacuuming and then flip it around and it mops and dries. It arrived on the day the temps broke records - it was the hottest day in 70 years! So, I didn't get to play with it until the other night when the temp came down. There I was at 11pm cleaning the kitchen floor. Works great, and because it holds water and detergent, it's also a good arm work out - just enough to be noticeable but not so much that it hurts to use. WIN!
Jill
Last Sunday after our chat, I went shopping. I love clothes, clothes love me, I am a clothes horse (gee, I sound like I'm in a 12 step program for shopaholics - wait, maybe I should be!) LOL
However, I can find sales like you won't believe. Coldwater Creek was having a 75% off sale - I got a jacket originally for $89.99 for $17.98 - well, they had lace tanks (my signature item), buy one get one 1/2 off, so I got two (I should have bought at least three - drat)....
And then I just moseyed into Clarks just to see how those Privos would fit (gotta keep my fat teacher feet from ailing) - and low, and behold - both the brown and the black fit wonderfully, and they were buy one, get one half off. So I came home last Sunday with a new jacket, two tanks, two new pairs of shoes. That reward set me back just a little bit, but it was worth it! :-)
I think I'm going to set my reward as an hour by myself at Borders, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks etc... reading. I don't want to buy myself anything as a reward all the time - that will just replace the food high. Besides, when I'm nice and skinny - I'll just have to get another new wardrobe anyway (my OLD skinny clothes are 10 years old - and a little out of style).
Raquel
i was going to give myself an hour of me time but that didn't happen; i did go to dressbarn and bought a new suit during their suit sale last week...
Congratulations Biggest Loser Challengers! We had 100% participation last week!
I also wanted to congratulate you all, as a group you lost 29.2 lbs this week! and a total of 35.9 lbs!!!
TOTALLY AWESOME!!
